Compulsory Core Subjects (5 subjects)

All students must take:

1. Bahasa Melayu
2. English
3. Mathematics
4. History (Sejarah) – Must pass to get the SPM certificate
5. Science (for non-science stream students) OR Additional Mathematics (for science stream students)

Students must take at least one (1) elective subject, but most students take more (usually 8-11 subjects) based on their stream (Science, Arts, Technical, etc.).

1. Science Stream (Typically 9-11 Subjects)

Ideal for students aiming for medical, engineering, or tech-related fields.

• Biology (optional, some students take ICT instead)
• Information and Communication Technology (ICT) (optional)

2. Arts Stream (Typically 8-10 Subjects)

Suitable for students interested in business, social sciences, or humanities.

• Islamic Studies / Pendidikan Moral
